xabo April 24, 2020 Share April 24, 2020 Running 6 XR30 G4 Pros over a 225 (72X24X30) 12" above waterline running AB+ @100% Getting high 400's, low 500's at the top of the rock work (highest point is 17") and consistent readings of 300+ on the sand bed. Is this too much and should I turn the lights down? Tank will be SPS dominant.
menglish April 24, 2020 Share April 24, 2020 300 + PAR on the sand bed may be too much. What do you plan to put down there?
xabo April 24, 2020 Author Share April 24, 2020 (edited) Hadn't planned to put anything there. Was taking readings with the PAR meter to tweak the lights. Edited April 24, 2020 by xabo
DFR April 26, 2020 Share April 26, 2020 To start off, I’d set them around 60%. This should bring your parr to around 200 at the sand bed. Once you start adding corals adjust based on response. There are probably people more adept with Radions that can chime in with their experiences.
