Origami February 9, 2020 February 9, 2020 I've had trouble with some hobbyist commercial fluids. That's why I often cross check with a DIY solution or a better refractometer. I've run my tanks as low as 32 and as high as 37 ppt over the years. As Dave said, it's instability that becomes the biggest issue.

It mostly only comes out at feeding time, but hasn't even done that. I'm guessing it died in its hidey hole. Poor fish. Holy cow, suddenly the dottyback showed up today, looking just fine after over a month of me not feeding it because I thought it had died and I have no other fish to feed. Fish that can feed themselves are always great to have. I kind of wonder why it hid itself all this time. Edited March 11, 2020 by treesprite
