Retro Reefer July 24, 2019 July 24, 2019 Thought I would share my new tank with the community.. my goal was to set up the best possible Reef Tank with the least investment of time and money. The tank just turned 1 year old and so far has been doing fantastic! The rock is from the Florida Keys and a lot of the live stock was transferred from my existing pico tanks. Retro Reefer July 24, 2019 Author July 24, 2019 This is a full shot, the mini tank sitting on my control center is plumbed to the main system and serves as a place to grow a little macro algae and house critters expelled from main tank =)

ImGoingCoastal July 25, 2019 July 25, 2019 Yeah. I bought mine back when Petco honored up to 55 gallons for their $1 per gallon.I bought mine while deployed to New Orleans for the BP oil spill. It sat in my truck for a month! Haha-A-a-ron
Retro Reefer July 25, 2019 Author July 25, 2019 The engine.. Turned the sock section into a small fuge, chemistry is maintained primarily with Kalkwasser dosed with a BRS parasitic pump. I manually dose 2 part and mag as needed to keep things in line.
