Hatchling

Hatchling (3/13)

  1. I am unable to load additional images to my build thread.. is there a maximum amount we are allowed to post?
  2. The engine.. Turned the sock section into a small fuge, chemistry is maintained primarily with Kalkwasser dosed with a BRS parasitic pump. I manually dose 2 part and mag as needed to keep things in line.
  3. Thank you! For a smaller tank I love the 40 Breeders dimensions, and for $50 what’s not to love.. lol
  4. Thanks man! Think I’m ready for some sps I saw you PM’ed me on R2R, I’ll get back to you tonight about getting together.
  5. This is a full shot, the mini tank sitting on my control center is plumbed to the main system and serves as a place to grow a little macro algae and house critters expelled from main tank =)
  6. Thought I would share my new tank with the community.. my goal was to set up the best possible Reef Tank with the least investment of time and money. The tank just turned 1 year old and so far has been doing fantastic! The rock is from the Florida Keys and a lot of the live stock was transferred from my existing pico tanks. EQUIPMENT : Tank, 40 gallon breeder eshopps rs-75 sump eshopps pf-300 overflow Coral Box D300+ dc skimmer Reef Keeper Lite controller Aquatic life t5 fixture with 3 ATI blue+ and 1 true actinic bulbs Coral Box LED wave makers - 2 Jebao OW-25’s MightyJet 538 gph DC Return pump Hydrofill Ti ATO 150W ehiem heater DIY Control center total investment in tank and all equipment $1,500 ROCK & SUBSTRATE : Approximately 30 lbs of ocean collected rock 15 lbs of CaribSea Aragonite substrate
  7. Yeah Murphy’s law, seems like something always goes wrong at vacation time.. good luck
  8. Beautiful tank! I put a new eshopps sump on my current build and I absolutely love it for the money
  9. Probably not a good idea to put a new piece of equipment on your tank and then leave for a week.. you don’t have anyone that can tank sit for you? You might try capital aquarium 703-822-1963 or blue ribbon aquatics 703-753-7566 for a feeder
  10. Hey Kingofall_tyrants, nice to also see you here on WAMAS, I just use a good old fashion HOB overflow.. nice and retro
  11. Don’t believe the super model story’s.. lol
