Sterilite containers

Anyone use these for ato tank? I’m wondering if they are safe for RODI water or if they leach garbage into it.

My biggest fear is that they would split open.  I used to use them for various things until that happened to me, now I don’t use them for anything.  They really are not designed for holding high density volume like water.
