Yes, that's right I'm having trouble growing Xenia. Also, my cheato is shrinking. My zoas and other soft corals are fine although the zoas, the GPS and the clove corals are growing slowly. There is no trace of algae on the rock. If the problem is too-clean-water then what do you do? Make it dirty? Overfeed? Add a fish?

Most natural thing to do is over feed or switch to a food packed with nutrients. Borrow or buy some sensitive test kits to confirm that’s the problem nitrate and phosphate. My tank used to be too clean I had the same problem 

Definitely test your nitrates and phosphates to confirm that is indeed the problem.  If it is, add more fish.  

It is also possible that the tank is not quite mature.  After cycling my tank, I bought some Xenia the same time I added my first set of fish and had similar results you yours.
