BigWyll August 28, 2018 August 28, 2018 It has been a while since I last posted. I have been using the Aqua Lifter as my pump for my ATO and changing the diaphragm when the pump stops working. Just found out they no longer sell the diaphragm repair kit. Any recommendation for a cheap replacement?
Stephen August 28, 2018 August 28, 2018 I bought a IceCap ATO from bulk reef supply for my current tank and I have to say I like it. No more float switches and the sensors are easy to clean.
Origami August 28, 2018 August 28, 2018 This is a DIY post that I made from early 2011, but you may find it an inexpensive pump solution for your application and may even have parts lying around the house to do it, too. Today, I use a peristaltic pump, though. However, I used this apparatus for many years as an ATO pump for a smaller nano that I ran for my wife's office. It may be possible to find a simple 1/2" to 1/4" quick connect fitting at a hardware store that would adapt the output side of a Maxijet and functionally do the same thing.
