IceCap Gyre 1K or MP10 ?

Right now with my coral setup my MP10 doesn't seem to give me the right flow. I don't want to move my corals ( mainly torches ) so I'm thing about getting the IceCap Gyre 1K

 

Does any one have an input on the pump? and does anyone have one lying about ? i would like to test before i buy

What setting do u have the MP10 on? It has 6 different flow patterns.

 

Do you have a pic of the current set up and placement of the MP10?

I would try the reef crest setting up around 50%. See how that works for you.

 

You could also mount the MP10 on the other side of the overflow as well.

Cubes are tough with only one pump... you would be better off with two opposing ones IMO

The reef crest at 50 is working just right. Sometimes I hold back from increasing water flow. I feel like my fish won’t like it.

The fish will deal with it. They will get used to it.
