Nelsonqd2015 September 6, 2017 Share September 6, 2017 Hi All, I am moving and I am going to upgrading my 65 gallon tank for a 90 gallon tank. My question is: what should I use under the tank between the tank and the stand? What's the name of the material and where can I buy it? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Nelson
Origami September 6, 2017 Share September 6, 2017 This is a regular glass tank with a frame? If so, nothing needs to be under the tank as all the load is shifted to the outside edges of the frame. Just make sure the top of your stand is flat. If the tank has no frame, then you can use insulation board from the hardware store. You'll find it in the building materials section. If the stand is nice and flat, you could also use a sheet of neoprene (possibly available at a fabric store or at Bulk Reef Supply). Neoprene, with its black edges, probably looks nicer.
