Can anyone tell me what this is?

I'm new to the hobby. This is my first coral (Kenya tree) I picked it up a few days ago from my LFS in Winchester. I'm just noticing this circular balls on the base of the coral. Any help as to what they are would be greatly appreciated.

I am at a loss.  Could be ball sponges or some form of egg?

Looks like pineapple sponge.

It does look like some sort of sponge, I moved the kenya to a different location so it had a better flow and they fell off. I took them out of the tank because I wasn't sure what they were.
