I got mine a month or so ago and couldn't find them locally - I think you'll have to special order or buy online. Let me say though that I am not happy with mine. The mag floats come in 4 models, priced like: $10, $12, $20, $110. So I got the $20 one, which it said should be good for my 125. I'm telling you, this thing cleans only the most superficial of algae. I have used glass mag floats in the past and liked them, so I don't know if it the acrylic-safe surface or if my tank is just a little too thick or what. I recommend getting at least one size bigger than you need (unfortunately, the $110 model is a bit of a jump from the $20). I also highly recommend a long acrylic-safe scraper, I've used and liked both kent pro scraper and the magical cleaner rod

how about cleaning the outside, what is safe to use?

I am looking at the Aquatic Aide "Cornermag": magnet cleaner for glass/acrylic. Add says Will move around corners inside tanks. Built in scraper for coraline algae. 2" x 3"

anyone used one?
