RW09903 June 12, 2017 Share June 12, 2017 I have a pincushion urchin in my display which is filled with astrea stars. I want to put a harlequin shrimp in but read that they might feast of urchins as well. Anyone with experience or suggestions with the two in the same system? Origami June 12, 2017 Share June 12, 2017 Sea stars and sea urchins are both echinoderms, and both have tubular feet. It's very possible that harlequins may feast on their little feet. Just in: Live Aquaria says that they will do so with some species of sea urchins: "It is very particular about what it will eat, dining only on echinoderms, primarily starfish, and a few urchin species."
