DIY 2 Part

Does anyone here use the Epsom Salt, Calcium Chloride (snow removal) and Baking Soda method of dosing 2 Part?  I am considering doing the DIY method but have not found anyone recently commenting that they are using this method.

Zygote2k did a lot of tanks this way a while back. When balancing calcium, alkalinity and magnesium, I've personally used calcium chloride (both as Tetra ice melt but also from BRS), Arm & Hammer baking soda for alkalinity, and Dead Sea Works magnesium chloride (ice melt) and magnesium sulfate (Epsom Salts) for Magnesium.
