Joshifer November 23, 2016 November 23, 2016 How would I quartentine coral? Let's say corals come from a tank known to have ich. I know they can't be infected but the cysts is what I'm concerned about. Found some free stuff on Craigslist. I googled some say put it in some tank water in a bucket or something for 3 days. Not sure. These will go in the fluval (if it passes leak test) and the 80G but it doesn't have a light yet. I don't wanna contaminate anything especially after going thru all this trouble.
GOSKN5 November 23, 2016 November 23, 2016 If it's ich that concerns you the same QT applies as fish.. 8-10 weeks in a fish less system.. that's the only way to break the life cycle...
monkiboy November 23, 2016 November 23, 2016 a simple set up will do. 76 days at least ten feet away from other systems. you don't need much. is there something specific you were wondering about?
