Joshifer September 19, 2016 Share September 19, 2016 I got a coral banded shrimp as a hitch hiker on tear down rock. I have no idea how it survived 10 days in a bucket Anyway I found its shell perfectly shaped I thought he was dead lol. But I found him hiding. Is their anything I need to add? Iodine? I use reef crystals so it should have all the trace minerals it needs. I never had one so I don't know what to do lol. Just leave it alone? Origami September 19, 2016 Share September 19, 2016 Just leave him alone. Molting is a natural process. They hide after molting because they're soft and vulnerable for a few days. Since you didn't know it was around for such a long period, you probably want to make sure that it's getting fed.

Yeah I'm spot feeding him brine with a turkey baster daily so he don't go psycho and pick at my fish. Crabs. Corals. Pretty cool hitch hiker.
