Word of advice, check your auto feeders every once in a while if you don't have them hooked up to a controller. I think my programming got wiped on mine and I didn't notice it until it was too late. I couldn't figure out why my new evansi anthias were dying off one by one. I'm down to 1 now and finally figured it out why, auto feeder wasn't feeding.

I feel bad, but I guess those are the unfortunate lessons you have to learn the hard way. I think I'm going to change the programming tonight to where it will only feed when I'm not there and I will hand feed frozen in the morning and evenings.

Mine is on apex I watch it feed once or twice a week auto pilot. Most of the time it just does its thing without me watching.

I think thats the route I am going to go later down the road. I bought a used apex but I have to go pick it up and set it up.

What kind of auto feeders do you use?

yes, i love my Eheim auto feeders.  It runs very long long long time on just two batteries.
