I have also seen Alvaro's work it is absolutely amazing. If I needed any custom woodwork done I would definately go through him.

We should invite him to present at one of the meetings. Set-up a show area and bring a few samples and lots of bueiness cards. A win-win situation.

 

BTW be sure to let him know he is building for an acrylic tank, not just a glass tank.

Glass = support along the edges

Acrylic = support of most of the bottom

I think pictures will do just fine, he builds for glass tanks and acrylic. Don't expect him to be dragging cabinets around at meetings. He can bring business cards along.

It was just a thought. If he's too busy and doesn't need the business then he shouldn't bother. If that was my livelyhood I'd do it in a heartbeat.

He is really good at what he does, however buildings stands and canopies at a reasonable price to help fellow reefers (he has a 150G himself) is what he does on the side since he owns a big construction/remodeling company so his lively hood doesn't depends solely on building stands and canopies. You shouldn't make comments like that without first getting the facts straight, and how do you get the fact straight? Asking questions first without putting your foot in your mouth... Capisce?

Alver never got back to me..so i decided to call somebody else in Indiana..
