AlanM May 9, 2015 May 9, 2015 Nothing happened. No one in the tank cares. My consumption has been going through the roof lately, and I keep adjusting my dosing pump upwards, but the alk keeps falling. Yesterday I had to go from 95 ppm to 150 ppm which is where I keep it. The pump ran for a long time and overshot slightly to 160, but nothing seems to be affected.
AlanM May 9, 2015 Author May 9, 2015 I amexpecting some FTS of SPS growth explosions. Thats a good idea. I will try to get some of the angles from shots I had taken in january to show growth. It feels to me like it is becoming a solid wall of coral. I gotta get smaller fish to fit between the gaps. And for some reason a hulk milli frag I have had in there for more than a year just decided to make a play for some room after quietly encrusting forever. Weird stuff.
surf&turf May 10, 2015 May 10, 2015 Hopefully nothing will, but with SPS, sometimes it takes a while.

I made an alk mistake a long time ago and it took a week until I started to see tissue necrosis on a couple SPS. Since This was run through slow doser you should be ok. Frags in my experience are most at risk to fluctuation.
