I bought a 180rr tank. Cant be happier. Im overwhelmed with what sump to get. I like the clean look of the manufactured sumps. What size do i need (how many gallons will i need to make sure that water doesnt end up on the ground)?

The idea i have is to take up a third of the stand with a fuge. Then the other with pumps and a chiller.

What has worked for others?

Trigger sumps are great. I have one for my cube tank.

Get the biggest sump you can afford and fit. That way it increases your water volume and gives you the ability to run a bigger skimmer and more
