Carbon Dosing

Hi I have a 120 reef that is doing very well  .A wide mix of SPS ,LPS ,sponges, clams etc .I do weekly water change, use RO water no hair algae. Trying to stay ahead of curve and start carbon dosing. What are your experiences that work and what hasn't. Interested in best practice.

I have always just done Vodka dosing, I think I'm at about 3cc a day now.

 

I went as high as 10cc a day when I was having a Nitrate issue and once it started coming down I lowered it until it increased again. not sure what a good starting point would be if you done have any issues to begin with.

 

I would be happy to go into more detail if you're interested in my methods.

Recirculating biopellet reactor for me. Super low maintenance. Way easier than when I was dosing Zeostart3.
