turbo2oh February 22, 2015 February 22, 2015 I have a 1500gph overflow that was running silent for months. I used some black mesh netting (forget the name) to muffle the sound on the interior sides of the box and all was good. I pulled it all out to clean it and removed the lid inside the box. I've tried packing it tight/loose and every combination but can't get it to be quiet again after replacing it! Any suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's not just a little louder though it's a loud suction noise. I'm thinking maybe the lid isn't fitting on perfectly letting it suck in a little air instead of creating a full siphon. turbo2oh February 22, 2015 Author February 22, 2015 clean the vent hole on the 90. It was these! I thought I was hitting the inside of the pipe before with the skewer but it must have been caked up with some hard salt. All is good now. Thanks all! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
