Jhead85 November 10, 2014 November 10, 2014 This is the second time I've noticed tiny orange ish worms swimming around very fast when the lights went out..also a few of them were black or dark blue... Easily 20 or so..I've sucked as many as I could get and now I see one here and there but this is the second time I've saw this happening... Any ideas fellows
Origami November 10, 2014 November 10, 2014 They look like mysids. Perfectly normal. http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-02/rs/
lutz123 November 10, 2014 November 10, 2014 Hard to tell on the video to even make a guess. Free swimming and not crawling? The the chucks addiction hitchhikers page.
Origami November 10, 2014 November 10, 2014 If you've got a few in a cup, You could nuking a few to get a closer look. I see little stuff swimming around in the tank - especially at night. Mysids, larva, other zooplankton. It's really hard to tell with your video - they look like little gray-white dots jetting about. Some looked like they were flexing in the middle.
