dante411x August 10, 2014 Share August 10, 2014 never heard of anyone being bitten or consumed by a Bobbit worm. That's because they're not around to talk about it.

Squishie89 August 10, 2014 Share August 10, 2014 Bristleworm wise, when I see large ones (when they start turning a grey/light purple color) I pluck them out (if I can) and put them in the sump. This is what new born baby bristleworms look like (they swarm at night when they are born/hatched and then they like to crawl into crevices, and the space between the frag rack and the glass works for them)
TRhino35 August 10, 2014 Author Share August 10, 2014 So seriously either way if it's a bristle or bobbit what will eat it? There has to be a natural predator for these things.
epleeds August 10, 2014 Share August 10, 2014 Arrow Crabs will eat them. but they will also eat your fish if they get hungry and lucky. Several wrasses will eat the bristle worms, not sure about the bobbit.

Keraxis August 10, 2014 Share August 10, 2014 Coral banded Shrimp also eat them. Mine got lazy because he figured out he can chase the clown fish away from their food pellets. Greedy little...........
