nova423 March 31, 2014 March 31, 2014 The title says it all, if you run a nano reef with a DIY bottle skimmer, give it a little tilt too boost production. Right now its dialed in wet but I usually skim a bit drier. The collection bottle stinks so bad I did not want to film near it!
Mattiejay6 April 1, 2014 April 1, 2014 Looking good and really like the video... You make me want to try and hit up the DIY skimmer..are you using a wooden air stone to produce the bubbles?
nova423 April 2, 2014 Author April 2, 2014 LOL I just dumped out two weeks this morning, stunk so bad I didn't take a pic. It was "dark tan". I'll snap one next time. I did post a picture in a previous post regarding zeozyme of my collection, that was an older design skimmer. That skimmate was straight black lol.

This one has two generic fleabay basswood airstones in it, run off of a cheap two outlet pump I picked up from QR. You could get a luft pump, but depending on your application you might need all that power.
