Ben A March 11, 2014 March 11, 2014 I am adding a clown and RBTA tank to my 120 gallon system. THe pan is for it to be drilled and connected directly to the sump under my 120. Its going to be a 20 gallon long BB tank with some rock and a pair of clowns. I hope to propogate a couple RBTA and this will be the holding tank for them. I was wondering what would be a good lighting option. I would prefer to not have to spend a lot of $$$ (laughing while I type). Opinions?
wildcrazyjoker81 March 11, 2014 March 11, 2014 Either a D120/2040 or used halide setup is your best bet as they are not terribly expensive. A T5 setup would be good too, but bulbs get expensive.
YHSublime March 11, 2014 March 11, 2014 If you can find an old d120, that would be a great bet. The new models the 2080s are the same, but with the internal controller and touch screen. Might be able to do the job with a par 38 or two, depends how clean you want it. When you see my mantis habitat, we can bounce ideas.
