I'm just fighting one leak issue after another. Last night I finally put the CL in operation and i'm seeing lots and lots of micro-bubbles. I already addressed one leak on the input of the pump, but now it appears that SCWD output connections are wet. Anyone else experienced this issue? I guess using tie-wrapps on a 3/4" hose is not the correct approach. Time to get some metal clamps. Any other ideas?

You can always try to silicone it. Put some around the SCED pipe then slide the tube over it. Be careful with metal clamps. They will rust and fast.

I give up!!! :wall:

I put 5 metal clamps on all possible barb hose connections and still getting micro-bubbles. All the other connections are either PVC cemented or teflon threaded. This is not worth the effort... :wall:

I have heard that they sometimes have leaking problems and are not put together well. Try and contact the manufacturer for a replacement. The only other thing I can think of if you are getting microbubbles is that they are present in your water already or there's an air pocket that's being worked out. Try and give it a good shake to dislodge any residual air and see if that clears it out.

Rob,

Every SCWD that I purchased leaks. If you notice when you get them, the molding line, runs right down the middle of the nipple. Just put a good dose of Silicone on the male adapter before you put the hose on and then crank down with a metal clamp. Should work fine then.
