Djplus1 February 16, 2014 February 16, 2014 So I've been running a WP25 in my 14 gallon Biocube and was curious if it was worth switching to a WP10. The 25 is a little bigger than I would like, but it really hasn't bothered me all that much, as it's the tank in my kid's room. I also have an adjustable power supply to slow it down quite a bit. Is the 10 THAT much smaller than the 25 when looking at it in tank or am I just spending money just to have like a tiny space improvement?
cliftonsong February 19, 2014 February 19, 2014 Heres a size comparison between the two. is the 25 too much flow for the 14 bio? I think its too much flow for my 30 cube haha http://www.fish-street.com/images/products/editor/wp10_wp25.jpg
londonloco February 19, 2014 February 19, 2014 Right now I have one WP10 and one WP25 in my 60g, it's only 18" high, and I'm tired of the sand blowing around from the WP25. As soon as the ERC group buy comes in, I'm going with 2 WP10s. The WP10 is considerably smaller than the WP25's, but doesn't put out near the flow. If your happy with the WP25, then stick with it.
Djplus1 February 19, 2014 Author February 19, 2014 I have it way dialed down due to the adjustable power supply so I'm not that concerned about sand flying around.I already have 3 WP25's and 2 WP40's in my collection so I'm not convinced I NEED a WP10 to make the tank nicer.
YHSublime February 19, 2014 February 19, 2014 I think it depends what you're keeping. I wouldn't say you NEED it.
Djplus1 February 19, 2014 Author February 19, 2014 I think I'll just save my money for some other fancy doo hickey that I MUST have...... Or I'll just buy 3 in the next GB... I have a problem.....
