rioreef December 5, 2005 December 5, 2005 How reef safe are these dwarf angels to SPS, LPS, Clams, Zoos Shrimp and Snails? 1. Flame Angel 2. Coral Beauty Chris
JMsAquarium December 5, 2005 December 5, 2005 SPS, LPS, Clams, It's a hit or miss. I had a Coral beauty for over a year, wix a mix of SPS LPS zoos, other softies and a clam without a problem Shrimp and Snails? Same , never a problem. But that was just my experience. Flames are about the same as above, hit or miss.
HowardofNOVA December 5, 2005 December 5, 2005 Have heard good things about the Coral Beauties as well, but the Flames, especially the ones that I had LOVED my GSP! My last one was killed by the Blue Velvet Damsel this summer and the GSP are STILL recovering from the constant nipping! Howard
DEEPBLUE December 5, 2005 December 5, 2005 I have both in my reef and don't bother anything. I've never had a problem. Eric
rocko918 December 6, 2005 December 6, 2005 I have a flame angel and he hasn't touched a thing. 46566[/snapback] samehere, i have a flame and does not bother anything, even my gsp.
Caribbean Jake December 6, 2005 December 6, 2005 I have a coral beauty in my 55G LPS/Softies tank and he only graces on algae. I also have a Flame Angel in my 125G SPS tank and all inverts and corals are doing great.
Caribbean Jake December 6, 2005 December 6, 2005 Oh by the way, I do have Zoo's, Shroom's, some softies and few LPS, shrimps (Fire, Camelback, others) in my 125G and they all look healthy and alive. So I can assume the Flame Angel is not nibbling or attacking them.
