I'm working on my 600g plumbing as we speak.  The attachment is my idea.  please let me know if i miss anything.  Also, I was thinking to use tap water for the initial fill up since it might take days to get 700g RO water.

Any suggestion welcome!

I agree...just keep making it overnight and such and you'll be done in a few days...also if anyone is close and can make some for you....

Welcome to the 600 club!!

If this is a fish only then de-chlorinated tap water could be fine but if you are going to have corals I would use the RO unit.

I have well.. I just thought that it would be a longggg time!  and my RO unit is still at my old house (where my current tank is).  What do you all think of my diagram?

You are going to want ball valves on each return line so you can adjust flow on each line.

What size are the drain lines?

Why not have one single 1 1/2" line for the return to the DT?

Did you buy it new? It should have come with the extra impeller. I think they are originally made with the Hammerhead impeller installed. You can tell the difference by looking at the width of the veins. The Hammerhead is a wider (thicker) impeller, where the Barracuda is more thin.
