ebay MH bulbs.....

In the market for MH bulbs and stumbled upon these on ebay...

Has any1 tried these before if so are the kelvin rating true to color?

I've never tried bulbs from that guy but I have used other cheap Ebay, made in China, bulbs and they were all a little over rated in color. That's a really good price and worth a try.

 

Looking at the picture it looks like an XM bulb.

havent tried that one, but just ordered from 1000bulbs- color was a little off from advertised, but their 20k looks pretty good(more like 14k at best), but still a good buy IMHO

I've bought from him in the past and used his 250W DE lamps over my frag tank back in Ashburn a few years ago. I do recall not being completely satisfied with the color, but still used them as it was my frag tank, not the main display. They were still suitable.

Do you recall if it was 14 or 20k?

I think ... but could be wrong,.. that they were supposed to be 14K. As I recall, they looked more white - closer to 10K.This was a few years ago, though.
