rebekwl May 31, 2013 May 31, 2013 Our yellow corris wrasse disappeared late Monday after being content and out in the open for the most part since introducing him to our tank on Sunday. My husband came home from work today and there he was swimming around like nothing ever happened. Sneaky little guy! We were ready to give up on him but were holding onto hope that he would re-appear and he did, yay!!
steveoutlaw June 1, 2013 June 1, 2013 Sweet! Mine has been missing for about 3 weeks so I'm starting to give up hope.
steveoutlaw June 1, 2013 June 1, 2013 Not really. I got him about 2 months ago and didn't see him for a couple of days after I put him in the tank. Then he appeared out of nowhere and everything seemed fine. Then poof, gone again.
angel not fish June 1, 2013 June 1, 2013 Yep, when they think they are in "danger" they hide into rock cavities and eat some small pods or what they can find in there. During a storm I got 10 days without electricity, so I pack what I could and set up a tank at treesprite house. But I never could find the wrasse until 4 days later coming out off the rock. They are tough guys...

Coral Hind June 1, 2013 June 1, 2013 I have a wrasse that only shows up on a monthly basis. I think he is coming out at night when I can't see him to feed on worms. Some times I only see his yellow tail sticking out of the sand. I poke the sand at times just to get him to move to make sure he is still alive.
rebekwl June 2, 2013 Author June 2, 2013 I was telling my husband earlier that I bet he's been coming out all this time at night or even during the day when we're at work! He was out today too for a little bit but won't stay out all day.
Coral Hind June 2, 2013 June 2, 2013 How long have you had it? Once it feels more comfortable in the tank it will start to stay out more.
