After reading the instructions online I think I am missing a check valve (never had one before but did work fine). Is there a local store sell the check valve? Do you have a RO holding tank? It's either the check valve or auto shutoff valve. On my RO unit, the check valve is immediately after membrane casing. I had my check valve failed on me recently. bcjm February 19, 2013 Author Share February 19, 2013 I do not have a holding tank. The auto shutoff valve seems to work fine when I tested it manually. Check waste water tds making sure its significantly higher than tapwater. Check that you are getting 1 gallon of good water to 4-5 gallons of waste.
