Acclimated slowly over a 2 hour period by putting it in the tank for temperature and slowly added tank water over 2 hours. Seemed to work great.

I'd love to get one but have to get over the thought that it could be temporary. Everything that I've read says that it can either last in our tanks from 1 day to 18 months. Hopefully yours lasts a long time. Looks awesome though.
