ChrisTran November 25, 2012 November 25, 2012 Yesterday I bought a pair of SA fancy snow and today I came across a nicer pair of Platinum that i couldn't pass up. So i ended up with 2 pairs. I like both of the pairs and would like to keep them in a 45g. Will i be able to keep them together if i introduce them to the tank at the same time? Short term? Long term? The fancy snow pair is a bonded pair and the platinum ones are juvenile. Should i add the young ones in the tank first and add the bonded pair in later? Chris
roni November 25, 2012 November 25, 2012 I probably wouldn't try it in that small a tank. Once they get to breeding age, they aren't going to be very receptive to other clownfish. There are groups of clownfish that host in the wild in one anemone but the anemones are pretty big and the smaller clowns are always subordinate to the dominant pair, not additional pairs.

smallreef November 26, 2012 November 26, 2012 Its really hard with clowns... they like to have a LARGE home range... if you upgraded to like a 150g its more likely
treesprite November 26, 2012 November 26, 2012 I would not put them all in the same tank. Those snows are beautiful.
roni November 26, 2012 November 26, 2012 Don't you have a 150 as well? Or is there a pair in there already?
ChrisTran November 26, 2012 Author November 26, 2012 Yes i do have a 150g. I have a pair of oxy snowcasso in it. Maybe i take this pair and put it in the 45g and put the new 2 pairs in the 150g? What do you guys think ?
smallreef November 26, 2012 November 26, 2012 I think that would be the best possibility of it working...
