Viktoriia July 26, 2012 Share July 26, 2012 So this morning I went to feed the fish and my clown gobie is missing. Tiny little tomato is lost or possibly .... I have been looking all over the tank. Checked the surrounding floor area. Maybe the trumpet coral got it not sure. But I fed the trumpet frogspawn and fungia last night. Any Ideas? The other fish are clowns, watchman w/ pistol. Damsel and 6 line. Maybe he went down the watchman hole?

My yellow watchman goby jumped into overflow and took a ride through plumbing into the sump the other night.....maybe yours did the same thing? We don't have a sump now! :( Otherwise I would look there the first thing! Thanks for advise though!
treesprite July 26, 2012 Share July 26, 2012 Clown gobies sometimes vanish like that. Gobies have a very short lifespan, so unless it was a baby when you got it, it may have croaked from old age.

He was pretty small when we bougth it, about 2 weeks ago. Though they are small fishes, i think that he is/was still supposed to grow. Can my trumpet coral eat him? he liked to hang on top of it.
