Where is LA DD getting their z/p??? why is it so expensive on there?

I thought purple death, nuke green, nuclear death, cap america, etc are pretty common now, or even unwanted nowadays...

here are some listing on them... $99 for like a few polyps of purple death?

I think most hobbiest around the country are not as lucky as we are. We have a local club that is very good at growing and sharing of corals. There are a lot of reefers out there that don't even know about or have local clubs where they could get corals for a lower price, all they know is online or maybe a LFS. If LA wasn't selling them then they wouldn't be priced there, so a demand is there.

very true, if had some pretty good offers on RC after posting some pics...im just a newb to shipping corals and dont feel like dealing with the hassle....

i know when i was in blacksburg there was ALOT less to get...coming up here was the only way to get anything nice except fish.

i know i still overpay for some corals if i like em enough but man 15-20dollars a polyp for purple deaths....

I got some of the same things at Neptunes Cove for less than half the price. The owner usually gives you twice the amount of polyps you order.

People who don't have the benefits of belonging to a club like WAMAS (some clubs are blah) are really taken advantage of.
