schenktank January 30, 2012 January 30, 2012 this is my first time building anything to do with aquariums. but i thought it came out pretty cool looking for a nano. i cut the overflow from a piece of 4 inch pvc and covered in silicone and pushed black sand into it so the hermits can climb it like a rock wall. added a piece of plastic mesh at the top so nothing falls over. ran a 1x6 off my book shelf and hung the par38 led lamp through it. ive never posted pics either so i dont know how this is gunna turn out. tanks been runnin for 2 months and everything looks good so far. let me know what yall think
Reefoholic January 30, 2012 January 30, 2012 A little rock climbing gym for the hermits. Great idea and mod! Thanks for sharing!

Oprah Wrangler March 16, 2012 March 16, 2012 That is really creative. Question? What is the noise like on the overflow? It looks like a rather long way for the water to fall.
schenktank March 23, 2012 Author March 23, 2012 its actually not that bad. i dont mind a little gurgle its kind of peaceful.
schenktank March 23, 2012 Author March 23, 2012 pretty crappy pic but i got all new rock because of the isopod situation a while back. i love the new rock its only 3 big pieces so it looks much moor natural to me now. havent seen any isopods since then and all the livestock looks healthy.
