Coraline bleaching question

When i was running T5s as my light source my coraline on my rocks spread and encrusted everywhere, i had red, 2 shades of purple and green all over my rock. Since i have switched to MH system my coraline has bleached. Now only near the bottom of the tank and some at the top still have nice color. I assume the MH's are maybe to much for if? i still do my calcium, and trace elements etc like always. Everything else esp my lps, sps and zoas are spreading and growing like crazy.

I too switched from t5 to mh and have had the same thing go on in my 180....don't think it likes to grow to well with mh being so intense....IMO

The metal halides have more PAR, therefore you have bleached the coraline algae. Coraline algae usually prefers diffuse lighting like T-5's.
