not sure what wr is but assuming fish qt...

I quarantine 4-6 weeks. I should qt 8-10 weeks but since i don't have a completely clean tank (I didn't qt fish initially), I'm just looking for and treating visible disease. I watch and get fish feeding for week 1, then treat with prazi if everything looks okay (and the fish are eating well). Then feed and fatten up for another 2-4 weeks depending on the fish. I don't treat with anything else unless I see something (hyposalinity for ich). I also don't treat with prazi unless the fish are eating and eating well, since it can be an appetite suppressant.

I do around three weeks of treatment. First week is to get them to relax and eat, then two days of Prazi, followed by two weeks of copper.

You could get a dozen different answers to that question. I go by what type of fish it is and where I got it. For a regular scaled fish that eats standard food and came from a vendor, I'd go 4 weeks.

It is a scooter blenny. It has been eating well and did not show any signs of distress or disease from day 1 and it was doing great at the store before buying it. It's been in QT for 3 weeks with no issues. It Loves to eat marine cuisine frozen and is interested in the pellets. I think I will watch it for another couple days and then transfer it to my 55.

I would like to know how many people understand that scooter "blennies" are dragonets like mandarins. They eat pods, often don't eat prepared foods, and often do poorly in QT due to their feeding requirements.
