Jarosh June 27, 2005 Author Share June 27, 2005 What happened to your DSB? 33741[/snapback] Actually that is what the tank looked like at it's previous owners place. He was using an udergravel filter that just polluted the crushed coral substrate. So when I moved it to my place I chucked the substrate, but ment to replace it with south down. Unfortunately the southern states was all out of southdown that day. I've got the sand now, but I'm still debating on whether I'm going to use it or not. GaryL June 27, 2005 Share June 27, 2005 hey paul if you have a fuge put the DSB in that, i think if i were to do it over i would have a course shallow sand bed and tha fine dsb in the fuge. just to try it out. the water to me seems cleaner in my CC tank than in my 150 w a 5" DSB. just a thought....Gary the tank is looking good!
