jumpinjoker December 5, 2011 Share December 5, 2011 Added a dragonface pipefish to my tank a couple of weeks ago but haven't observed him eating. Added copepods to the tank (will add another batch today) and have supplied live brine shrimp, frozen mysis, etc., but nothing seems to tempt him. Any ideas? trockafella December 5, 2011 Share December 5, 2011 These fish are known to be diffucult. Thats why there recommended for the expert hobbyist only. Have you tried anything with garlic or something to entice them.?
jumpinjoker December 5, 2011 Author Share December 5, 2011 Tank has been established about two years. I have a refugium with macroalgae and seeded it two weeks ago with live copepods. Tried to pick up more copepods today, but the shop was out, so I picked up some cyclop-eeze to try per the shop owner's recommendation.
Jan December 5, 2011 Share December 5, 2011 If it's used to eating live food it wont touch anything freeze dried or frozen but the food will feed your pod population. BowieReefer84 December 5, 2011 Share December 5, 2011 Was the fish eating at the store? If so, get some of what they had. Good luck!
