best place to buy fish?

Personally I'd suggest calling if you know what you want and not wasting the gas. Most everything was beat up looking. I agree that stock does change though. That being said a steal is a steal. I dont think ill be making any trips there in the foreseeable future.

It really helps to have web access when going in there and places like it. We got a nice deal on our fish only bc I could look up prices on things I wanted before I asked what their price was there.

 

I've made it a point now though to buy online. That way I have a 15 day guarantee if somethings wrong with it and prices are cheaper if you get free shipping.

 

Also +1 on buying from Wamas. I can't say for others but all the fish I've gotten from other members had been well loved (or hated in terms of damsels but fat and healthy nonetheless). Generally, these fish will have been in a happy tank for awhile and not still under the stress of being shipped from halfway around the world.
