Chad September 6, 2011 Share September 6, 2011 There are a few local seahorse keepers (myself included ). Remember when purchasing seahorses your absolute best bet for long-term longevity is to obtain true captive bred seahorses from a reputable source that has not been in contact with other fish (read: not from a LFS tank, but perhaps from a LFS is picked up in-bag from a known good source - most of our LFSs can get ORA seahorses). Some good sources are seahorsesource.com, seahorsecorral.com, oceanrider.com, pekasponies.com and ORA through an LFS. Also, a while back Mattew Lebron (http://www.wamas.org/forums/topic/42445-seahorse-babies/page__p__362408__fromsearch__1&?do=findComment&comment=362408 a WAMAS member was trying to raise erectus, try sending him a PM, I think he is up in MD). Finally, I put together a bunch of info that you may find useful at this link: http://www.wamas.org/forums/topic/39036-seahorse-specific-setups/page__p__333426__hl__seahorse%20specific__fromsearch__1&?do=findComment&comment=333426 . The picture links don't work anymore, but I can locate something if you want more info.
