Chad September 2, 2011 Share September 2, 2011 Chris, I am actually not positive what it is. I bought it from petland a while back out of the $10 frag section because I thought it was a balanophyllia - in my mind it was a killer deal for a balano. However, after spending quite a bit of time searching I came to the conclusion that there are many, many clear polyp oval skeleton lps azoo corals, so I probably will never have a positive ID - could be balanophyllia, phylangia, paracyathus or many others. Now that being said, it seemed that most of the corals in that group have some variation on cup coral as a common name... I like the name "hidden cup coral" so based on that, I dub it "Chad's hidden cup coral"
