Reefoholic May 15, 2011 May 15, 2011 (edited) Guys, My urchin that was doing so great for a couple of weeks or so, I discovered on the sand upside down when I came home today. I thought that they could correct themselves easily but when I put him the right side down I discovered many spikes had fallen off. My water parameters are normal and everybody else in the tank seems to be doing great. Despite the fact that the urchin is on his right side now, he hasn't moved a bit for 20 mins. The tentacles are active but I am afraid I am losing him to something. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks! --------------------------------------------------- Moved him to my SUMP. Looks normal now. hypertech May 16, 2011 May 16, 2011 (edited) If it was upside down and spikes are falling out, its likely dead. Are you sure it isn't just flow moving the dead spikes around? Leave it be for a few days. If it doesn't move at all, rinse it, soak in bleach water for a while and let it dry. Their skeletons are pretty cool. Edited May 16, 2011 by hypertech
