Supernova26 March 31, 2011 March 31, 2011 Hello, My Apex unit just came in the mail today . One thing that I can't find is a 12V power supply for the Base Module. Shouldn't this be included?? Any help would be appreciate it.

hypertech April 1, 2011 April 1, 2011 I think you can hook up a power supply and get some functionality like power outage notifications, etc but it isn't necessary.

The EB8 gets its power from the wall outlet, base module connects to the EB8 via proprietary USB cable, and the display connects to the base module via USB cable. Solid green lights on EB8, base module, and display will be functional.
Supernova26 April 1, 2011 Author April 1, 2011 Correct. I figured it out last night but my base module does not respond at all. No lights or any signs of live. It is getting power from the eb8 as I measured the voltage. It's just not responding.
