Incredible Corals February 28, 2011 February 28, 2011 (edited) Just got back from the Bahamas and went snorkeling for the first. Couldn't wait to get back and share with you guys! Here's a short video. It's hard to film in the water. Please don't get sea sick. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRYEAskecfA Edited February 28, 2011 by forrealb50

FearTheTerps February 28, 2011 February 28, 2011 Great Pics, thanks for sharing. How many sharks were there? looks like about 5 in the one pic, that would have probably freaked me out too. One or two isnt bad, but a group starts to get scary.

There were probably around 20 and the biggest around 8'. There were on all sides of the boat when they started to come up and we got out pretty quick.

So you were on Nassau, yes? The sharks were Caribbean Reefs, yes? That's what they looked like from you picture. Edited February 28, 2011 by OUsnakebyte

lowsingle March 3, 2011 March 3, 2011 Lucky dog, I haven't been to the Bahamas in a few years......Atlantis is a blast! Has the local reef encrusted much? When I was there, the man-made lagoon that they made still hadn't really encrusted much life. cheers, Darren
tecsavi March 5, 2011 March 5, 2011 Grat pictures, thanks for sharing. I'm headed to Grand Bahama in May and was curious to see what I could expect to see snorkeling there. Hope it's similar to Nassau. What type of camera were you using for the underwater shots?
