sydney December 29, 2010 December 29, 2010 I found a 92 corner for a good price only thing is its not drilled. Is it anyway to drill the bottom . If i drill the sides whats the purpose of having a corner tank lol
FearTheTerps December 29, 2010 December 29, 2010 Need to make sure its not tempered. If its not it should be pretty easy.
FearTheTerps December 30, 2010 December 30, 2010 aquarium one will drill it for $20 PITA but---- do they give any kind of insurance on that in case of breakage? a cheap bit would cost at least half that.
Coral Hind December 30, 2010 December 30, 2010 Do you know who the manufacturer of the tank is? Most manufacturers only temper the bottom and not the sides. If it is an AGA then it is a tempered bottom according to their website. http://www.aqueonproducts.com/assets/011/19784.pdf
Vadim December 30, 2010 December 30, 2010 usually bottom glass of tanks are tampered. aquarium does a good job at drilling. I've had mine drilled over there. But no guarantees though. Atleast i don't remember there being any guarantees that it doesn't crack.
quazi December 30, 2010 December 30, 2010 Interesting way to determine if the glass is tempered: http://www.salt-city.org/showthread.php?t=9542
gwweber December 30, 2010 December 30, 2010 do you know what make the tank is there should be a tag on it. If you get the number off the tag aqueon may be able to tell you if it is tempered
