Quieting Return Pump

Any recommended material to place under the submerged return pump to absorb a little of the vibration for quieting purposes? Its not bad, just trying to minimize. Thanks, Frank

I use a stick on foam rubber pad about 3/16" thick. I have lots of this material available.

I've used a piece of felt material from an old filter pad.

Foam or neoprene works well (old mousepads are good, too, as long as it's inert and not going to leach stuff into your water). The trick is to find something that is not solid so as to not transmit the vibrations. The type of plumbing you have leading back to the tank will also have an effect on it.

I use a foam pad type thing BRS sells. Works great.

Mouse pad - the old school type. Cheap & works fine.
