It looks like a coral. Where did your rocks come from?

rocks came from different private sellers. Little bit of rock was bought from the store.

i don't know the difference in an unhealthy war coral and a healthy war coral. Because i haven't seen any that comes close to looking like the one in the picture. it's spreading fairly quick. I first saw it about a month ago and it was the size of about 2 or 3 quarters.

Looks like you got a rock with war coral on it. The coral could have been dying or it ws taken off the rock and a frag was left behind and it's coming back. It may change it's color as it grows. Have you observed it at night? Congrats!

I haven't observed it at night. Is there something i should be looking for in particular? I'll definitely check it out tonight.
